Mods for this version are still few, all the real deal ones aren't converted for it yet. SpecialEdition is remade-to-64bit game where such memory issues are gone but the requirements for it are higher as well as textures were upped quite a notch. But it has severe memory limitations and unless you really tweak your game and know what you are doing, you can easily end up with an unplayable game yet again. It means it is the 32 bit version that was originally released, all the really sophisticated, tested, extended, polished mods out there were made for Oldrim. Legendary edition is what people call Oldrim. Otherwise try as you might you'll just end up with an unstable constantly crashing game if you are so lucky that it would start the first place that is. Learning to truely mod skyrim takes a serious amount of time, reading several guide, watching several tutorial videos.
